Lock-In (Phone Hotels)

Project Lead: Colin J Nelson

About the Project

The tentatively titled “Phone Hotels” project aims to develop a locker system where students can securely store their phones during designated study time.

The system is designed to allow access through Husky Card swipe or tap authentication. Each locker will also support device charging while the phone is stored inside.

By integrating secure access control with built-in charging capability, the project focuses on creating a structured and convenient storage solution for academic environments.

We welcome students interested in:

•CAD and mechanical design
• ECE and Hardware prototyping
• Embedded systems and circuitry
As the project progresses, additional roles will be open. No prior experience is required — just initiative and a willingness to contribute.
